Instead of gathering at 15 Perry St for our regular gathering, we take the 5th Sunday each time it comes along and we go out together into our community on Sunday morning. We hang out, give away food to those in need, and grill out some lunch. It's a beautiful time of taking our faith community outside the walls on a Sunday morning.

June 19, 2011 - In our gathering today, we experienced something special. At the last minute, we found ourselves in a place with no musicians to lead us in "worship." What happened was that God forced us to consider what "worship" is. We ended up exploring multiple forms of non-musical worship (prayer, testimony, meditation, etc.). The audio clip is just a few minutes after our non-musical worship time when Tim Coleman, Lead Pastor, shared a few closing thoughts.

June 12, 2011 - baptism gathering

Every time we gather for baptism, it's a special time. On a baptism gathering Sunday morning, we don't gather at 15 Perry St...instead, we gather at a local creek/river. We have a time of acoustic worship music, then we baptize in the creek. After the baptisms, we have a potluck lunch and then we enjoy the park...fishing, hiking, games, just chilling. It's a beautiful time that our faith community looks forward to every time we do it.
